Welcome to RikuCeramics! The terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to RikuCeramics. RikuCeramics operates this store and website, including all related information, content, features, tools, products and services in order to provide you, the customer, with a curated shopping experience (the “Services”). RikuCeramics is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you.

The below terms and conditions, together with any policies referenced herein (these “Terms of Service” or “Terms”) describe your rights and responsibilities when you use the Services.

By visiting, interacting with or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms of Service or Privacy Policy, you should not use or access our Services.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and password, and for all activities under your account.

SECTION 2 – OUR PRODUCTS

Our ceramics are created through artisan craftsmanship and traditional techniques. As a result, minor variations in size, shape, color, or glaze finish are natural and not considered defects. These variations are an inherent part of the uniqueness of handmade ceramics.

We have made every effort to provide accurate representations of our products and services. However, due to differences in device displays, lighting, and the handmade nature of our items, the product you receive may not look identical to images shown online. Such differences will not qualify as grounds for return or refund.

We do not warrant that the appearance, quality, or performance of any products or services purchased by you will meet your expectations. All descriptions of products are subject to change at our discretion. We may discontinue any product at any time or limit quantities as needed.

SECTION 3 – ORDERS

By placing an order, you make an offer to purchase. RikuCeramics reserves the right to accept or decline your order at its sole discretion. An order is not accepted until confirmed by us and payment is processed.

Please review orders carefully before submitting, as cancellations may not be accommodated once accepted. Purchases are subject to our Return & Refund Policy, which states that all sales are final except in cases of defect, damage, or incorrect items.

You represent that purchases are for personal or household use only and not for commercial resale or export.

SECTION 4 – PRICES AND BILLING

Prices for our products are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue a product at any time.

We accept payment through methods offered at checkout. By providing payment information, you represent and warrant that you are authorized to use the designated payment method.

SECTION 5 – SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

We work with trusted carriers to deliver your order. However, once items are transferred to the carrier, title and risk of loss passes to you.

We are not responsible for:

  • Carrier delays or delivery estimates not being met

  • Customs processing delays

  • Loss, theft, or damage caused by carriers or events outside our control

If shipping insurance is available and purchased, claims must be filed directly with the carrier or insurer.

For international orders, you are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, or fees charged by your local authorities. RikuCeramics has no control over these charges and cannot predict their amount. You are responsible for ensuring that products may be lawfully imported into your destination country.

  • Carrier delays, lost parcels, or damages during shipping once items are transferred to the carrier;

In no case shall our liability exceed the amount paid by you for the specific product giving rise to the claim.
